Who should attend: This session will be applicable to geologists, hydrogeologists, and environmental professionals interested in developing large-scale monitoring networks, in PFAS fate and transport, or in bedrock characterization. A wide variety of techniques and methods were included in this work, and interest in much more important than expertise to enjoy this presentation.
Webinar Overview: Kleinfelder and the Delaware Department of Natural Resources and Environmental Control (DNREC) have conducted an integrated investigation of perfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS) in surface waters and groundwater in the Delaware Piedmont, a physiographic province which extends into Pennsylvania. This presentation will cover the bedrock well site selection process, unmanned aerial vehicle surveys with thermal imaging, and borehole characterization using an integrated suite of geophysical surveys and modeling.
