ASBOG Exam
Pennsylvania is an ASBOG (Association of State Boards of Geology) state. This means that geologists, with the appropriate credentials, must pass the two (2) part ASBOG exam to become a PG. The ASBOG exam is given twice a year, to examinees in over 25 states. The importance of being an ASBOG state is that many states utilizing the ASBOG exam allow reciprocity for PGs from other ASBOG states.
ASBOG Website
While on the ASBOG site, be sure to download and read over the "Candidate Handbook".
