Political Action Committee

PA GEOPAC - a political action committee formed and supported by Professional Geologists.

Each day, elected officials make countless decisions which affect your professional and personal future. Now you can have something to say about it. How? Through PA GEOPAC, the official political action committee of the Pennsylvania Council of Professional Geologists.

A PAC is an effective way to lend financial support to candidates who support the legislative goals of a particular organization or who are willing to lend an ear to members of the organization. More than 200 trade and professional organizations in the state have formed PACs including doctors, dentists, lawyers, bankers, and builders.

GEOPAC contributes to candidates running for office in the state Senate and the House of Representatives (the General Assembly of Pennsylvania).

Contributions made to candidates using PA GEOPAC funds are carefully analyzed by the PCPG Governmental Affairs Committee.

Advocacy contributions enhance the visibility of an organization.  Without access, our legislative achievements will be limited at best.
